Mr Oleg A. Mkrtchan is the director general of ISD, one of the largest steel companies of Ukraine.
Born in Armavir, Krasnodarskiy Region (Russia), he graduated from Stavropolskiy Polytechnical Institute in 1988 with the diploma of an engineer-technologist.
O.A. Mkrtchan started his work in ISD Corporation in 1997 as the head of metallurgy department. Later he occupied the post of the executive director’s first deputy.
Mr Mkrtchan is the general director of ISD. Since 2002 he effectively manages the company and coordinates the enterprises of the ISD group. Between 2001 and 2002 O.A. Mkrtchan received «The Miners’ Glory» awards of the first and second degrees.
Among other things, O.A. Mkrtchan coordinates social and charity programs of ISD Corporation aimed to support the Olympic sports of Ukraine, development of national culture and arts.
