Corporation ‘Industrial Union of Donbass’ is a holding company which organizes more than forty industrial enterprises in Ukraine and other countries
Main business is production of steel, steel pipes, coke industry, equipment for ferrous metallurgy. Other scopes of activity are heavy engineering, telecommunications, tourism and agricultural sector

The activity of the corporation in this sphere consists in studying markets of ferrous metals in CIS and foreign countries, selling products of metallurgical works and tube works, developing intra industry co-operative contacts, modernization of equipment and technical re-equipment of metallurgical works and also the enterprises of the fourth and the fifth repartitions, providing the iron & steel works with the main kinds of raw materials, power resources and additional materials.

The activity of the corporation in this sphere is the formation of markets of natural gas and electric power among consumers of Ukraine and Europe, providing power engineering industry with additional volumes of natural gas for production of over limit electric power for Donbass and Ukraine, and also in reconstruction and modernization of outdated equipment, realization of the energy-saving program through re-equipment of the basic manufacturing industries.

The purpose of Industrial Union of Donbass in mining sector is integration of organizational, industrial and economic potential of the corporation and coal mining enterprises for increasing volumes of coking coal production, solving socio-economic problems of partners, and also reviving one of the priority industries of Donbass.

Since establishment of Construction Engineering Department in Industrial Union of Donbass (1998), the volume of works carried out by the corporation jointly with other contracting organisations amounted to 55 million UAH of capital investment.
